Korsmo Construction worked with the State of Washington Department of Enterprise Services, Department of Labor & Industries (L&I), Department of Agriculture (WSDA), and ZGF Architects to construct the new L&I/WSDA Safety and Health Lab and Training Center in Tumwater, WA.
Completed in July 2023, this high-performance building meets both L&I’s and WSDA’s needs for programming and laboratory space within a modern energy-efficient, zero net energy (ZNE)-capable laboratory, training, and administrative facility.
The project has achieved LEED Silver with potential for LEED Gold certification.
