A strong working relationship between Korsmo Construction, The Squaxin Island Tribe and AndersonBoone Architects brought this Design-Build project to life. Design services provided included conceptual and construction drawings in different phases. Preconstruction services included constructability reviews, value engineering, and scheduling.
The project consisted of an 8,800 square foot heavy timber building addition that contains a shallow entry pool. Other work included a mechanical attic, 1,000 square feet of accessible fenced patio and 2,600 square feet of reception, office and locker/shower rooms. Construction occurred adjacent to an existing Education Center, making coordination and safety highly important.
