Korsmo Construction built The Greens Warehouse for Emergency Food Network (EFN) in Lakewood to serve as Pierce County’s central storage and distribution center for emergency food programs. The facility is a new pre-engineered metal building consisting of 21,600 square feet of dry storage warehouse space, including a two-story employee/crew area with a lobby, break room, restrooms, offices, technology room, and flexible space for additional offices or storage.
With enough space for nearly 1,800 pallets, the new warehouse increases the amount of food EFN can procure and distribute while also improving efficiency of operations.
Associated site work included a depressed loading dock, parking, paving, striping, and site utilities. The project also included demolition of an existing house on the site.
