Korsmo is currently building the Arlington Drive Youth Campus for Tacoma Housing Authority. Situated on a 3.5-acre campus, the complex includes a new four-story building with 58 apartments for at-risk young adults, ages 18 to 24 years, and a 12-bed crisis residential center for youth without families for ages 12 to 17 years. The center will provide affordable housing, administrative offices for the Community Youth Services organization, educational services, and job training areas.
The project involves multiple community partners and funding from multiple agencies. Project partners include A Way Home-Washington, City of Tacoma, YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties, and Youth Community Services. This project will meet Evergreen Sustainable Development Standards.
