As part of a multi-phase, $3,700,000 project to expand the Nisqually Indian Tribe’s Red Wind Casino, Korsmo Construction also renovated the casino’s existing fine dining restaurant, the Squalli-Absche Grille.
The project involved selective demolition and updates to the existing flooring, wall coverings, light fixtures, doors and frames. New additions include a beautiful tile fireplace and floating glass shelves that serve as the focal point of the restaurant.
The phasing of this job required strategic planning to ensure that all casino operations remained open during construction. Strategic phasing and the use of partition walls with sound insulation and finished paint helped isolate patrons from construction while maintaining aesthetics.
