The 21,650 square foot facility is the home to Girl Scouts for Southwestern Washington. The $2.6 million facility was completed on a 10-month construction schedule and included development of the 5.19 acre wooded site. Korsmo Construction and subcontractors collectively donated $75,000 of in-kind work.
The two-story building features an administrative wing, a grand hall, meeting rooms, a resource computer lab and retail store. Adopting Northwest styles, the architecture includes exposed beams and a window wall in the great room, peeler poles at the main entrance, interior stained concrete floors, and a wood bridge connecting the building to the trail system and campfire area.
