Korsmo Construction worked closely with Casey + DeChant Architects and Destiny City Church staff to breathe new life into an unused multiplex theater. The building’s unique floor plan and structural design had discouraged many potential buyers, but our project team was able to create a lively, functional home for Destiny City where others only saw challenges.
The extensive remodel of this 30,000 square foot building created classrooms, meeting spaces, a youth activity room, staff offices and cafe area as well as an impressive sanctuary that seats up to 445 and features a large stage with updated sound and lighting systems. A projected 6-month construction schedule was completed in 5 months through strong teamwork.
