St. John’s Episcopal Parish Renovation and Addition

The existing St. John’s Episcopal Parish, built in the late-1950s, was in dire need of renovation.

Korsmo Construction completed the renovation and addition project, which including demolition of the existing entry and addition of a larger open-concept narthex with expansive windows that create abundant natural light, a wall to cross ceiling backlit wood feature, upgraded restrooms, new lighting, and exposure of a stunning stained-glass “servanthood” window that had been concealed by other furnishings. All carpeting was replaced with new hardwood flooring.

The project culminated with the delivery and installation of a 1981 pipe organ that was originally built for a college in New York. The organ, featuring 1,284 pipes, creates a musical showcase wall inside the sanctuary.
