Korsmo Construction has been adding or replacing aging and inadequate athletic facilities at multiple locations for Tacoma Public Schools.
Through a multi-phased process, Korsmo has successfully managed multiple concurrent projects under one progressive design-build contract. The project includes new synthetic ballfields, tracks, and tennis courts; lighting; covered dugouts; prefabricated restroom and storage buildings; perimeter fencing; and street improvements.
The project has constructed outdoor facilities at Lincoln High School, First Creek Middle School, Gray Middle School, Giaudrone Middle School, Mason Middle School, Truman Middle School, Stanley Elementary School, and Browns Point Elementary School.
Construction of baseball and fastpitch fields is now underway at Hilltop Heritage Middle School and Peck Athletic Complex, which is owned and operated by Metro Parks Tacoma but will be the home field for the Stadium High School baseball program.
