As part of our ongoing work to expand the Suquamish Tribe’s Clearwater Casino Resort, Korsmo Construction recently completed a 98-room hotel addition to the property. New hotel rooms boast a water view from nearly every angle and comfortable living spaces with warm, earth-toned furnishings. Suites feature large living and dining areas, contemporary fixtures like freestanding bathtubs and backlit mirrors, and private decks with breathtaking views.
The hotel addition also offers expanded dining options to guests: a new fine dining restaurant, The Clearwater, was constructed on the fourth floor and features locally inspired cuisine with a full oyster bar and private dining room. Adjacent to the main lobby, the Beach Glass Café offers a more casual dining environment plus outdoor seating with a spectacular view.
10,000 square feet of meeting space allows the hotel to host a variety of professional functions and entertainment opportunities. Adjacent to the new meeting and pre-function space, hotel guests and event attendees can enjoy a view of Agate Pass from the outdoor terrace, which also features a fire pit.
The structure is composed of structural concrete, metal framing, post-tensioned concrete floor slabs and state-of-the-art composite weatherproofing and siding materials.
Korsmo’s project team was able to complete the new hotel significantly under budget and six weeks ahead of schedule, all while the Casino and existing resort hotel remained fully operational.
