This design-build project with a negotiated guaranteed maximum price included renovation and expansion of three separate convenience stores and gas stations for the Puyallup Tribe of Indians. The scope of work consisted of planning and remodeling of the convenience stores which also included some site modifications, fuel, and canopy work.
Building upgrades included new entry canopy, storefront window modifications and new automatic entrances, exterior painting and asphalt sealing, site work and landscaping modifications, addition of gas dispensers and canopy, cooler and freezer modifications, construction of new beverage areas, modifications to interior walls and suspended ceilings, reconstruction of cashier area, interior paint and finishes, new floor coverings, and restroom modifications. These three businesses remained open and operational throughout the duration of construction.
