Kenmore Junior High School Addition and Modernization

This modernization/addition project for the Northshore School District consisted of demolition of the existing single-story school to accommodate construction of a new two-story, 26,100 square foot academic building. Construction occurred while the school was fully occupied by students and staff.

In addition, a new single-story, 21,570 square foot Commons building was constructed. This building houses the Music and Industrial Arts programs, a full size kitchen with food service equipment and student gathering areas. The project met Washington Sustainable Schools Protocol (WSSP).
