Green River College Salish Hall

The 83,000 square foot structure contains offices, conference rooms, and staff lounge area for administrative support in the north wing, and classrooms, labs and art studios in the south wing of the building.  A three-story lobby atrium connects the two wings.

The building includes a two-story faculty wing which houses offices, open areas for part-time faculty workstations, administrative support spaces, lounges, and conference rooms.  This wing also includes a large, tiered- seating lecture hall.  A 3-story Instructional wing which includes a range of general and specialty classroom spaces and a 3-story Arts wing which includes painting, drawing, and photography studios, and dark rooms, a digital media arts area, ceramics labs, an exterior kiln and fabrication yard.

The building is constructed of concrete foundations and footings, structural steel, brick veneer, and Flatlock metal panels throughout. The project achieved LEED Silver certification.
